Strange??

It really is... It's almost six years now, that I have been in Chennai, so many memories and after meeting so many people, only a select few remain close to my heart. I guess that's the case for many people, but I feel strange about it. All strangers, I hadn't met anyone earlier, not shared a lot either (except for the fact that i spent more time with these people), and yet only a few people have touched me i some way(oh please.. Not literally! !! I mean they are close to me in some way). This post is to honour one such person, with whom I shared a wonderful afternoon. I'll remember that moment by the three things mentioned earlier,

The Keychain stands out as the one thing that'll remind me how it was without this person.

The car key and the tag, the fine afternoon and the kazillions of journeys enjoyed in the car.

What's new??

Besides the tumble page I'm getting ready to launch in a few days, it's about UK. Well I've got into Bristol Univ., no celebrations yet because I've not got my letter of approval from the faculty, however I have been granted an admit from the univ. So the good times have started to flow and i badly hope that it goes on until the last semester results are out! !!

If you did visit my tumble page you would have noticed a small promise I made for myself to get a sketch book. No improvements on that front and another one is that I get a new cam mobile. No improvements there either. So, reason for the delay in putting up that page is "I don't have anything Unique" to post there for now. Got any ideas??

ASIDES:

I watched Ironman today.... Awesome movie.. Check out the imdb rating. Well I'm not sure if everyone around the world(including tamilians) are familiar with the word "Mokkai". Anyways this is the factor that gave me an identity in college.. So I am planning to carry on my legacy online by posting my favourite ones here... Or maybe in the tumble page.. Not decided yet but it has to be somewhere.

I'm tired and sleepy.. And i should seriously try to regulate my blogs.. I'll spare my thoughts regarding these.. So, BUH-BYE! !!

Yet another begining comes to an end! !!

I can't believe four years of college has passed already! !!

It's been an awesome ride. The many friends, the canteen, the jaunts out of college are all things that end with this. I would be really surprised if I meet 20 percent of my classmates in the next 20 years. Everybody is treading a different path, it's so intriguing that people with such varying thoughts and aspirations practically lived and had a gala time together for four years and then suddenly gained an idea of what they wanted for themselves and are now moving away. My thoughts, I guess everyone eventually lives for his/her(I am not chauvinistic) own survival.

So, college has indeed come to an end and i am still trying to come to terms with that fact along with so many other things that are changing in my life! !!

As a final meeting before the quest for life and glory, the boys met for lunch at a place called 'BARBECUE NATION'. Awesome joint and we had a whole enclosure for ourselves! !! Nice conversations, great food, beer and lots of laughter was followed by the saddest part of the evening where everyone shared their "goodbyes" with promises to meet each other and never forget what we shared for the last four years.

A very touching moment indeed! !!

It was during this meet that a select group including me planned to extend the evening to a cricket match at the Chepauk! !! The match was however a boring affair but being there with friends, among so many other people and the charged up atmosphere really got me excited. It was after all a T20 match of the IPL.

Well, altogether one would guess that I had a nice time with friends. But on the lonely ride way home from the match I realised that it was the final time I laughed and joked and had a good time with these people. I reached home with a heavy heart and wished that i wake up the next morning a kid and I could, just once, have a oppurtunity to be here with my friends all over again.. Just Once! !!

Project: Project Completion! !!

Finally, final year project completed. HA HA.. I'm glad it's over, for the last four years this has been the only thing I was looking forward to. It is kinda sad that I really didn't contribute much to the project. But I learnt a lot, and I would have contributed more if I had a system that supported the software for the project (not that my system is bad! !! but for some strange reason the software just didn't get installed in my system). Thanks a lot to my friend Balaji, he was among the first friends I made in college (this is a different Balaji, not my roommate! !!). Nevertheless, he was in my class since the first year when the batches were all mixed up until now. It is gonna be hard to say bye to this guy. Anyways, thanks a lot for helping me out by completing this project.

This is the final report. I am proud of it! !!

I have been talking a lot about project report all this time, so it kinda means that I have been really busy with that, so apart from project work nothing interesting happened! !! I am kinda disappointed with Chelsea FC's draw on monday night against Wigan. That was really bad.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention the last CAT test in college. It was really my best CAT performance this semester. Boy it was awesome to be writing the last CAT.

Times of India is indeed proving to be a disaster, but I am determined to give it another month, I didn't wake up at 7 on April 14th for nothing! !! They even print comic strips wrong! !! How is that even possible?? Check this out! !!

Working out on where to apply in US. That seems to be a very tough question. But hopefully I find answers at the right time! !!

I woke up at 7! !!

Argh! !! Early morning 7! !! Bloody hell! !! It was only 7! !!

Hmph... Was working late night to complete my project report and some games after that. So it was around about 1 20 am today morning i fell asleep, hoping to wake up around 11 or at least 9. But that was not gonna happen. Why?? Cause today was the 14th of April! !!

I lived in Bangalore for 4 years and one of things i loved most about life there was "The Times Of India". Its a daily, for those who didn't know. It is the most successful daily in the world, for those who didn't know that. Anyways, the reason i had to wake up was that i had to cancel my subscription of "The Hindu" and change to "The Times Of India" which was launched in Chennai today. So woke up canceled that and then contacted The Times office to find out who supplies it in my area and then contacted him and fought hard to get a copy. I did manage to get it, I didn't wake up at 7 to give up, it came home around 10.

Guess what i did, when i got it?? Took a pic to put it on here of course! !!


There was a huge address to the readers, it was nice in a boring way. Well the content wasn't that good either. Quite a lot of misprints and typos.

The supplements weren't that great either. But i guess I'll give it some time before i regret the case of sleep lost for shit! !!



Altogether I am very sleepy now. So gonna run through my activities for the past two days.

• Went to gym regularly.
• Started doing yoga.
• Starvation still continues. ( Thia will go on until i meet a dietician)
• Manchester United won, so hugely disappointed. (I strongly believe Arsenal should be relegated to 3rd division)
• Met a school friend, JUMPING JACKS. It was really surprising cause i thought this person was gone forever.
• Compiled my project report only to scrap the whole thing and redo it today.
• And chatting with another long lost friend as i am typing this.

Depression To Starvation! !!

The phase where I was completely depressed has passed. Now, I am kinda in a phase where I want to starve myself. Dunno why? But it sure is no fun. I am very hungry as I am typing this. My level of food consumption for the past 3 days has been- 7 chappatis with daal, Cornflakes today morning. The chappatis were consumed yesterday for lunch and dinner. Day before was a perfect fast. Dunno where this is going to lead, i hope just some weight reduction cause i badly need it....

Since my college thought of killing my weekends wit a stupid CAT (Continuous Assessment Test) exam, today was wasted. As usual the thing i was hoping for has not happened yet, but the day is not over, so lets see.

As college is coming to an end, I had this need to patch some friendships that had gone rusty. Got down to doing that today in college and was really surprised by the response I got. Almost everyone (what the heck! !!) Everyone seemed to understand what happened and why I had ditched them so long. It was really great. Thanks to '! !!' for helping me realize that it's not too late.

Things are looking up, but some thing is still missing. I know what, but there is nothing I can do about it, It's really killing me inside. I need someone to talk to. Someone who knows the pain of what is happening to me. Maybe I should go for counseling or something.

Amidst everything, life still goes on.............................

Whew! !! Bushed! !!

Today was officially the last working day of college or so it was supposed to be, but since the students (i.e. us) planned on making it a day for shooting photos and merryment the working part of the day was kinda lost! !! Thankfully! !!

All friends and girls in sarees really made my day. No matter how grateful I am that college is getting over I can't seem to get over the fact that some of these people who have made a huge impact on my life might cease to exist in my life physically. Somehow, I've always found this habit of posing with friends for photos on the last day stupid and ridiculous. Four years of staying at the same place and sharing a lot of emotions and spending a lot of time with the same people (this has never happened to me all my life.. I've studied in 9 schools in 4 cities) have some what softened me up a bit to actually realize that these were the precious few things that I'll never get back in life! !! Regretting all those times I've not cared to remember my friends... I've lost so many that I wanna treasure the few I have now!!!

Tonights a big match for my team. Having lost the first leg away at Fenerbache, this match is a must win situation for Chelsea. So, tonight I am busy! !!

As for yesterday, most of it was spent at friend's place. I got a haircut so that i look good today.

Tomorrow, heavily scheduled to eat less the whole day so that i can hog at the PARTY! !! Yes, as final years.. we are having a party to say bye in a special way! !! This is very social one.. (i.e girls take part) and then there's one for the guys, probably at a beach house with lots of booze! !! Wish these last few days of college would last forever, for college or my life has never been so packed and full! !!

Whattey! !!

This has been a very exciting two days for me. First things first, thanks a lot for appreciating my first post. Now to my log. Well, it's been a great 48 hrs for me. Met some of my friends (These people, I generally refer to them as club friends, cause I met them at the Gandhinagar Club) and went out for sometime. It was really nice cause i am seeing them after a long time! !! Then something else happened (too candid for a blog ;-) but i can tell close friends though), all that is going to be written about that incident is that it made me feel great(Well, i suppose i should remember what it was if i do read this blog sometime later). Ah! !! it doesn't matter, it's too candid for a blog. Now to other pressing things in my 48 hours. EPL (English Premier League for those unfortunate beings who've never heard of it) matches over the weekends are always great. And yesterday my team played. (My team- CHELSEA FC). What more...... They Won! !!

And the other title contenders, namely Arsenal and Manchester United, slipped up (as if my team winning wasn't enough excitement for me! !!). Admist all this exciting stuff i did manage to fit in my regular gym and also squeezed in swimming today. Swimming has not been a part of my schedule for a long long time. Hopefully now that changes. I am trying to sort out my priorities as to what to do next that my Engineering studies are almost coming to an end in another month. I have made some applications to the UK. Hope i go there I will have a lot more to blog about then. I am looking into the possibility of going to US too. Now I am just mentioning these here today cause in future all these things are going to be a part of the blog.. Just don't want you stumped.

There are a few things people never forget in life. And then there are a few people can't forget. Things like their, anyone asks for it and they have the answers right away, unlike the algebraic formulas or the molecular weights in chemistry (there are exceptions to this case of course! !! But I'm considering the majority here! !!). You come under this category in my life. I can never forget you even if i wanted to. Thanks for everything and I'm sorry if i was selfish. With this note i want to start posting here, for i owe a lot to this person.. Thanks again! !!
